I have asked several so-called "ericksonian therapist" for specific case examples of successful therapy for a simple difficulty like i am facing. Unlike the fantastic feats of milton erickson they seem impotent...why do i get the runaround? is this an "indirect" method of weeding new "resistant" clients? i sought help for a specific problem...without success from several who claim to be "ericksonian"...i am not resistant...i just cant keep wasting money on a therapist or modality that really is not effective. my question: how do i determine if hypnosis or a therapist is inappropriate for me without sampling all?
