My first introduction to anything Adlerian was the book Children: The Challenge by Rudolf Dreikurs. I was the mother of two young children who are now successful adults. I had three more children and continued my study with a Master's and Doctorate in Counseling. Today, I recommend Children: The Challenge to all of my clients, even those who are not parents. They tell me that it helps them understand themselves and others. Although written in 1964, it still has relevance today.

Adlerian psychology opened up a whole new way of understanding people for me. I wish for you as much.
