I contacted the Wellness Inst. a couple of years ago to inquire about their training, after seeing their ads in the Fam Ther Networker and the NASW News. I was working on my ASCH certification at the time, and wondered if their training was accepted by ASCH. I was told that ASCH was "a little too rigid" [or words to that effect], and so that options was out. The training seemed to be based on the charismatic leader of the Inst., which turned me off. The phone staff there seemed to gush about how wonderful the training was, and persisted in re-contacting me to attempt to sign me up for the training. Seemed cultish to me!
