I have had about 15 EMDR sessions with my therapist. One of the things I found uncomfortable was having to explain where in my body i felt a particular fear/feeling. I am extremely self-conscious about my body (I hate it and don't want to draw attention to it)
After about 10 sessions I worked up the courage to be up front with my therapist about this and we worked out a way I could avoid having to do this while still getting the benefits of the therapy. My advice is try to work out what it is you are actually scared of and then discuss it with your therapist.
