This might not be directly relevant to the forum, but I think what I have to say will be of some use to the people using this area.
I'd just like to make a note regarding ordering books online. Amazon.com and BarnesandNoble.com are some of the largest, but:
(1) You may wish to consider BookFinder (This is at http://www.bookfinder.com )which will search through about 6,000 dealers in 2nd-hand and out of print books, for a grand total of about 6-8,000,000 titles. Pretty much everything by Erickson comes up, at a range of prices from a range of places.
(2) Amazon and Barnes and Noble aren't specialists in the area. There are bookstores like Tranceworks ( http://www.tranceworks.com) who specialize in hypnosis and psychotherapy, and so can recommend titles by other authors who relate to Erickson and his work. There are also NLP related sites which carry collections of Erickson's books -- www.nlpinfo.com springs to mind. Look in Yahoo or other net directories for some pretty impressive lists.
If anyone has another favourite store online that they'd like to bring attention to, please tell us!
(3) Amazon and B&N are very large and well-known, but they are in the process of strangling many smaller, independent booksellers who are valuable resources in their own right as regards the dissemination of psychological literature.
For details on the lawsuit against Barnes and Noble, look at: http://www.bookweb.org/pressroom/
Fringeware also has a page on similar topics: http://www.fringeware.com/friends/
I'm sorry to interrupt the content of the discussion here, I just thought that others in here would like to know what resources are available on the internet.
