Hi Amy, I am not certain what a girl like you is like. However, I do have a friend finishing a Masters degree in Transpersonal Psychology at The Naropa Institute in Boulder, Colorado. Its an interesting place. At the present time the focus avoids formal science training. Its emphasis is upon "enlightenment" and the arts. Not much on evolutionary theory or fact. However, it is a fascinating place, and for some provides a very worthwhile, personal (and transpersonal) experience. They might be worth contacting. Boulder is also the home of the University of Colorado, which has some very good evolutionary biologists on its staff. Students from Naropa can thus interact with others in the neighborhood. John
