Clinical EP - Are we biased in treatment ?

By stating that it would be dangerous to offer an EP explation of behaviour to sex offenders, we are assuming that these individuals choose to offend and are just looking for scientific permission/justification. Many sex offenders do not want to offend. The individual attributes the ideations and behaviours to being a bad, evil..etc.. kind of person. A feasible answer to "why am I like this?", restores some aspect of humanity to the offender. Rather than sanctions, EP offers relief and hope. Comments?
