January Symposium: EO Wilson, de Waal, Pinker, and others

Darren Long just advised me that we have to call Emory Health Center (404-778-7777) to register for the EO Wilson, Wm McGrew, Robt Frank, Dorothy Cheney, StevenPinker, Frans de Waal & Richard Wrangham presentations at Emory on January 15th and 16th, 1999.

Keynote address by Dr. Wilson at 8pm on the 15th, the rest of the troop follow on the 16th.

10 am Frank, Origins of Economics

11 am Cheney, Origins of Language: A form of Primate Communication?

1:30 pm Pinker, Origins of Language: Uniquely Human?

2:30 pm de Waal, Origins of Peace

3:30 pm Wrangham, Origins of War

No tours yet of the Primate Center but they are thinking about it.
