Doc Stein, I thought I sensed a creative soul! One of the problems with some of our previous communications may have been that we were connecting at the intellectual level but not at the creative level (or vice versa). Why don't we start at the creative level first and then move toward the more intellectual as we proceed? In addition to being a social worker Iam also a sculptor (metal/abstract constructions/all linear geometrics). My first portfolio (twelve peices) was completed in 1988 and was a presentation of twelve unique concepts (basically a "range" portfolio). All pieces have been completed in steel/iron/stainless/brass. I have just completed my second portfolio in balsa wood models. As a therapist and what appears to me in part ,a historian, I think you would enjoy this effort. It socio biographical in nature. The Title is MODERN TRIBAL MASKS. It starts with WAR (WW II) and ends with FUSION. The titles (sub under Modern Tribal Masks) are in order: WAR, FERTILITY,DECADENCE,REVIVALISM,SPLIT, SPLIT-NEW WAVE, SPLIT-PUNK,IDEATION,REDUCTION, MEDIATION, FUSION(pARTIAL). Iam in the process of having these photographed and then beginning what I call the gallery trot. ..........................Anyway, I have a small portfolio of my first works that I could mail to you if your interested. Some of the titles includs: CHURCH-NO WINDOWS, ANXIETY AT SEA, CLOCKWORK RED AND RECLINING NUDE. If you are interested in seeing these works post an address I can send them to (this is not a sales attempt-true art is to share). Good talking to you again, ....Ed
