Thank you for your reply! Other enthusiasts of EP may be interested in a book by Paul Gilbert (1992) The Guilford Press, N.Y. entitled: Depression: The Evolution of Powerlessness. It includes an extensive discussion of depression, an overview of evolutionary theory and its relevance to depression, and different theoretical perspectives on treatment. Will look forward to your future postings. Am going to order Exiles in Eden. Thanks for the reference. Am pleased to hear of the course on Clinical Sociobiology at Cape Cod. Is EP growing and expanding? Is it largely an academic movement--clinical? or (hopefully) both?
