Very nice commentary. You mention: "Universal Goods". Is that the name of a book? You also note "Bloom - 1995". Could you provide a title? (Martin Bloom's, The Paradox of Helping??)
I also wonder if you could suggest a book dealing with human universals (other than the one by Donald Brown).
Incidently, in that book Mr. Brown wonders "...if brain-damaged individuals might exhibit specific deficits that are directly related to universals - failing, for example, to grasp the notion of reciprocity while other functions are unimpared. But unless one is looking for such deficits, they might not be noticed." p. 150
Any studies on this?
