    Your scale sounds quite interesting, though I have little inpatient experience and as such am not the best person to comment. I hope there are others following the fourm who work on inpatient units and who might ask you more questions about the scale. Has it been published? Where is it in use? How many patients has it been used with? Can it be computerized? Is there a machine readable version?
