I don't know about anyone else, but I am a radical computer lover -- and are as far from the description of a computer addict you gave as the earth is from the sun. I live in a nice dorm, with excessive furnishings; perhaps one twentieth of all my books are about computing, most likely less. I carry on good relationships, I make friends easily, I have a good sex life -- and I could keep going. I don't match your profile...except for maybe the part about fondness for softdrinks, but I like FRUITJUICE too! You're talking to a woman who codes 7-8 hours for one class alone. I may not have a life, but I have an identity. The creature you described has none, not even the computer they are addicted to. Ma'am, I can only ask you to rethink the description you put forth. I can't speak for all programmers or net-surfers, but I am a well rounded individual, and far from the plebian you describe.
