    dissociation and role playing

I wasn't really offended John, more of an observation. I have spent nearly a decade online now. It would take a tremendous effort on your part to antagonize me. Actually, I am impressed with your astute communication abilities. It seems that some flaunt their education with flowery speech, in a vain attempt at some self-ego satisfaction. I always appreciate your clear way of translating your thoughts on the written page. Not an easy task at all.

Your quote of: "conscious control over this switching" a goal in my present therapy..(sigh)

Unfortunately, I am more of a chameleon, adapting to my environment and the person I am chatting with at the time. I mainly play the "role" of an online "helper". I found there are many more dysfunctional people online, then I thought possible. Maybe, I just attract this type. Many years of therapy have given me special skills in addressing common issues that seem to permeate this online medium. If the internet is a reflection of society, then your career is certainly secure John.
