>>You say it is no replacement. Well it certainly is no replacement for the wife sitting on ones lap, or for love making in bed while we channel those beautiful energies up to the highest.<<
... or for sitting around the fire place with family, or a walk through the woods with a friend, or watching people on the beach on a sunny day, or patting your dog on the head.... etc.
I guess what I'm saying is that we humans are intrinsically visual/auditory/kinesthetic... SENSORY, flesh and blood beings. It's how we experience each other, the world around us, and ourselves. Cyberspace can approximate this, add some interesting spins to it, offer some new ways of relating... but it can't surpass or replace the physical essence of being human... Cyberspace is like spice. It can really enhance the flavor of some foods... but I wouldn't want to eat only bowls of spice for the rest of my life.
