IMO, large parts of it are already ho-hum. The 'net is far from homogenous. I, personally, accept money to produce verbiage for corporate web sites that I probably would never visit if I weren't getting paid to do it.
On the other hand, the nice part of the 'net is that you tend to visit only the things that attract your attention, or that you have made an effort to seek out, and may not even know about most of what you would consider ho-hum, simply because you haven't sought it.
