There a lots of associated premises, observations, organizations, people, ideas, books, large and small pieces of experience, years of history, patterns of interaction, allegations about effects, etc., etc., that all go by the reference of NLP. Readers may have different opinions about each. It would be most useful if you could be more specific and write what you mean by NLP so readers can have a more rewarding dialog with you about your query?
