Thanks for your candid and revealing remarks. I do not think that "psychologists are the natural enemies of the psychiatrists" and do not think that all individuals of any group are likely to fall into such a gerneralization. I do not expect that much of the diagnostic labeling in the field is close to truth. I think your spiritual crisis idea is a on the mark (perhaps for more than mania). However, the game of making those DSM labels and fighting about them, hammering them out, and holding them up to others as truth is not a game I (personally) play. I think that a great deal of what you have said is absolutely correct and I hope your personal quest leads you to find what you seek if it did not already do so. As for the professional medical/psychiatric community -- God help us all! And in the meantime, try wearing pants when you seek God.
