She is excellent with self-promotion, and apparently very intelligent. Her site does showcase a good technical understanding. However, her openness about her personal life and whereabouts indicates she is either extremely gutsy or terribly naive concerning personal safety (maybe owing to her young age).
Although apparently technically web-astute, I believe the webmaster designation is more a hook than means of livelihood. I think her degree in economics probably included a few marketing classes. She's doing very well in being a phenomenon with name-recognition (more for self-images than reasonable skills as a webmaster). I really don't believe job offers lately to her, if she's getting them, want her for her webbing skills as much as her name recognition. Other webmasters I know promote their expertise by linking to sites they have done for clients. That way, the sites, not the webmasters, are the evidence of good work.
It's possible that, for some, she's tapped into a Walter Mitty psyche--people who'd like to be as "out-there" on the Internet but don't have the web abilities or guts. Time will tell if she will suffer any consequence of being so public (loss of privacy & personal space, stalkers & other aspects of personal safety).
