Okay, so you want follow up research on that case. But what are you researching with that? See, you can say, "This will see if hypnosis is providing long term relief from pain." But it is really seeing if I got long term relief with that man and his pain at this time. Further problem so far...what about your formulation distinguishes that question as research on the "Ericksonian approach" rather than just the use of hypnosis? (Assuming we can generalize beyond Lankton with that man). I succeeded for a number of reason - some were just based on the training of his awareness. But that is still not Ericksonian, per se, it is common to hypnosis in general. Some of the success was based on the factors of my congruity that came from the approach - getting a handle on that is very very very tough, however. Any one thing is the same as hypnosis in general (or can be). Well, anyway, go ahead and think it through and see if you can narrow this down a bit to make your point more clearly. I will be glad to hear what you are getting at and respond. Perhaps in the process you will come to better grasp my point as well.
