It's interesting that you point that out--I realized it as well as soon as I had sent the second post. I think what happens is that when I feel like an "outsider" to any given group, I lurk. When I gain that sense of identity with the group, I feel comfortable participating. Apparently with this "group", that happened somewhere between the first and second messages!
