When your memory goes - Forget it!

Memory is very malleable. Hypnosis is not a tool for seeking TRUTH, it is a tool to facilitate healing by retrieving and associating recourse. Having seen Erickson take great care to achieve a "clean" regression to childhood that took him nearly an hour, I have great doubts about the claims of those lesser skilled and lesser experienced hypnotists who tell of achieving a regression before birth in a few minutes or moments. It is probably best to assume that the deflection of a person's attention to such a memory-confabulated metaphoric fairy tale only postpones the speedy recovery of the resources needed to properly grow and mature in the real world.
