Thanks for sharing that (as they say). I often found the things that Erickson said similar to wisdom I had heard or read about in many places before. The odd thing, the special thing, about the comments he made was how personally meaningful and memorable they became as a result of his delivery.
I was fascinated with studying his process of delivery since it seemed that a great deal of value could be added to therapy and parenting and communication in general. The atmosphere he created was every bit as crucial to the communication as his word selection was. That of course, is always difficult part to convey when sharing stories about what we took away.
Any memories you have regarding his process or delivery as you experienced it would be very welcome here and possibly make for a discussion that could bring value to the therapy conducted by readers.
