    I'm no expert on VR games (personally, I just don't find them very interesting). But what you're saying sounds very accurate. I'm sure the designers of the game intentionally designed them so that kids WILL feel "trapped" in the game - trapped in the sense that they feel they just have to continue to the next kill, accomplishment, level, etc. Some games are designed so that there rarely is a sense of "completion" that allows you to feel finished and to rest. I guess one way to help kids caught in a game is to help them create some realistic self-imposed goal, so that once they reach it, they can stop.
