In addition to searching MedLine (or its online sister, PUBMED) of the National Library of Medicine (which indexes a great many psychology and social science journals), and PsychInfo, you should check out the ONLINE THERAPY forum by Leonard Holmes, Ph.D., in this Behavior.net set of forums (fora?). ..... Note that PUBMED indexes only journal articles, and has a dissertation section, but not books. You can get abstracts of articles instantly online, and full text without too much trouble. It's free (a government service); I don't think PsychInfo is free.
