    Tai Chi and therapy

The study of Tai Chi Chuan is an extremely complex endeavor. It looks simple but is not easy. Clients often complain about therapists directions, advice, homework, etc., that it is easier said than done. I find that teaching the forms, principles, applications and philosophies of TCC in direct, experiential lessons facilitates the client's understanding of these concepts and skills and helps them build a sense of competence that transfers to daily living. They become more relaxed, aware, sensitive to their inner world and able to control it and aware of the energy of others and able to respond to them more effectively.
