Hello, KDD,

Just spoke with Roland about some of the work I'm doing, and was wondering what sorts of things he/you all have been up to.

It seems that after searching for the last ten years or so for a way to converge the great things you taught me with the work I've been doing since then, we may now be getting close. I've just designed, and will be delivering next week, a two-day offsite workshop aimed at helping a client build a common database regarding the way they currently use their collective knowledge to add value, as well as a view to how they would like to use it.

This is exciting stuff, as I have drawn heavily on your workbook, but without feeling like I'm "cookie cuttering" the design. I deliver it next week with a couple colleagues, in New York. Should be fun.

May try to catch up with Roland and the gang in Charlotte in April - we shall see.
