    Haste = waste. In previous note, just posted, I used crypitic 'ISO' processes short-hand. What I should have done before pushing the button on my way to a coffee is to explain what the hell I meant!

    ISO = INTERACTIVE/SELF-ORGANIZING SYSTEMS Relevance to Goodwin = His balancing of "excitatory" and "inhibitory" processes in developmental models. I think many of these models work best if excitatory thresholds are lower than inhibitory thresholds. This leads to [abstracted] ideas of excitatory cores that spread with low activation, only to be constricted by higher threshold inhibitory processes. But I went through that saw before.

    Scary how our own personal jargon [here, "ISO"] seems so natural that we (I) can forget to explain what it is about! Apologies.
