I put Ms. Whisman's telephone number in the original post in case you wished to contact her directly. Alternatively, you could contact the EMDR Institute for information (408/372-3900; www.emdr.com). She often presents her protocols at the Institute's Level II trainings. It is important to be thoroughly trained in EMDR before implementing treatment with OCD clients. She will be presenting a five-day program (phobia/panic disorder/OCD) at the Institute's retreat course this January.

There is also a non-profit EMDR International Association (www.emdria.org) that approves a variety of training programs in EMDR. A number of universities have now incorporated EMDR courses. Since Ms.Whisman has presented her protocols at EMDRIA conferences, her tapes are also available to EMDRIA members.
