Since it's never quite clear what the backgrounds of the people who 'listen in' might be, would it be a good idea to review the major premises of Freud's interpretation of dreams?

Only speaking for myself, I have been through a psychoanalytic psychotherapy training institue, so I'm just as willing to have you proceed from here. Also, Vic, I'm not clear if you are primarily sharing information here, asking a question or wish different perspectives-- which I'm very willing to give!!! Maybe sharing some more of your conversation with Jessica would be of interest to.
