Reto it is so nice to hear from you! The March workshop is not the same without you. I realize that in Vic's last post he seemed upset and I can understand that it is frustrating to work as hard and productively as he does with little apparent appreciation or response. I hope that others will still respond to the ongoing dialogue. It is amazing that many hundreds of people are reading these posts without responding. DON'T BE SHY!. Vic and I will be meeting soon and will have the opportunity to sort out our differences in person. We will keep you posted!
To answer your question "Would you take the same patient which comes to you for individual sessions in a group that you are leading at the same time? Would you take an individual session patient at the same time in couple or family therapy? " I agree with your idea, as a case specific therapist I would decide what the best course of action would be based on how my patient would be likely to experience my action. I have done both and had success working with several members of the same family, couples and individuals in group and private sessions. How did it work for you and others? What special problems did you have to look out for?
