I believe that Dr. Sandra Paulsen Inobe's remarks concerning the role of exposure in EMDR is an excellent point, and one that deserves careful attention. Although you only asked for a "data base" on EMDR, you might also want to consider the enormous contribution that could be made by conducting definitive research on the question implicitly suggested by Dr. Inobe, as follows:

"Does EMDR get results because of its ability to more effectively harness the mechanisms/processes of exposure, or is EMDR merely an enhanced placebo effect?"
