I am a survivor of childhood trauma and I give my name publically and openly here. It distresses me as a survivor of some pretty bad abuse from some of my family members that you argue so vehemently regarding "repressed memories". I have a very personal opinion on this matter that differs from yours. I believe that many survivors recall "repressed memories" accurately even to the point of remembering names, places and specifics that can be documented even years later. I was one such case. And believe me I would rather have been delusional than to confirm my past "repressed memories" as real. Thank God for therapists like Colin Ross, Richard Kluft, Eugene Bliss, Mason Redd, Robert Garff and many others. I am alive to due to their courage and willingness to endure accusations against their character both personally and professionally.
