This is a question that comes up periodically. You may wish to review the archives of this forum for prior discussions of the subject. I know of no contraindications to the use of EMDR for individuals diagnosed with epilepsy. Other forms of bilateral stimulation, such as auditory or tapping, are commonly used by EMDR practitioners, in addition to or instead of eye movements. I know that someone has been actively soliciting case reports about the use of EMDR with individuals wtih epilepsy. So keep an eye on this forum for the next few days, as I suspect someone else will respond to your query who is current on the status of that survey.
