There have been a number of studies and books about the use of EMDR with these population. For resources you might try reading "Effective Treatments for PTSD", eds Foa, Keane and Friedman, 2000 or "EMDR in the treatment of adults abused as children" by Parnell, 1999. You can also get research citations at the MEDLINE websit or the PILOTS data base which is on the Dartmouth web site.
