I do not know of any data to suggest that EMDR would lead to psychic abilities nor have I had this experience in my clinical work. All trauma focused treatments (of which EMDR is but one) may lead to some hightened anxiety level early in the treatment process as the client begins paying more direct attention to difficult experiences. There is no way to tell from the material that you provide if this is actually the case here, and since this is not an appropirate place for detailed clinical consultation there is no good way to answer this question. You might consider seeking live clinical consultation with an EMDR Certified Consultant if you have particular interest in how EMDR might be working in this case. Again, please remember that EMDR is not a memory enhancement process nor a memory retrieval process.
