First, then why not just go to Medline or Psychlit and skip the EMDR website?
Second, doesn't the EMDR site "summarize" the research? If we are talking about the same site I went there, and had a friend still in college photocopy a few articles. My read of them was rather different than what the "summaries" led me to think.
Third, your would also think that for a dissertation the person would need to work with someone at their campus, wouldn't you?
