Dr. Inobe, Consistent with your comment about Maureen Kitchur's association of involuntary body movements with very early traumatic experience, my T's occured mostly at age 5. In today's EMDR session, in addition to intense facial contractions, I involuntarily and intensely pulled the hair at the back of my head for much of the session. My therapist appears to be quite skillful, including his use of an interweave today after about 12 essentially negative sets to bring the session to a close in a positive way. Thank you for your response and thank you for maintaining this board for us.
