Suzanne, I have seen some educational information on EMDR presented in the type of presentation that you are talking about. Generally these are local presentations so it would depend on where you are located. If you can let me know where (what city) you are located in I might be able to provide you with a contact in that city. Also, the EMDR Internation Association has materials that might be appropriate (described EMDR for the layperson). You can contact them on the web at www.emdria.org. In addtion, there is a very good book by Shapiro and Forest titled "EMDR: The breakthrough "eye movement" therapy for overcoming anxiety, stress and trauma. It is available in paperback in most bookstores. It is written for the layperson also. Please let me know if you need more information.
