In case you have missed it, I would make sure to read Shapiro's 1995 book as well as books by Shapiro and Forrest (1997) and Parnell (1997, 1999). Research articles can be found on the EMDR (www.emdr.org). There is another interesting article in Journal of Psychotherapy Integration by Zabukovec, Lazarove and Shapiro (2000) that is good.
