I would suggest that you locate an EMDR trained therapist in your area. You can find such a therapist through the EMDR Institute (www.emdr.org) or the EMDR International Association (www.emdria.org). Depending on how old you daughter is, you would want a therapist skilled in working with children (if you daughter is a child and not an adult child, can't tell from your post). There is a good book that most of the people who have read it find helpful (EMDR:The breakthrough therapy for overcoming anxiety, stress and trauma, by Shapiro and Forrest). The book is written for people interested in finding out more about EMDR and is available in paper back in most larger book stores. You can expect your therapist to do an extensive evaluation and discuss the pros and cons of EMDR with you. A decision about whether or not EMDR might be appropriate for your daughter cannot be made on this forum and will require talk with the therapist.
