Thanks -- I think I understood. I think I read that even if we have touched specifics incidences of trauma, and had some relief, and even entegration (or in some cases of fragment parts -- they simply left - over the wall), it is possible for EMDR to bring another aspect to that many, from perhaps another alter who may have experienced the actual trauma differently. We have found that at times of extreme physical or emotional pain, one alter might be there at the onset, but by the time the "games" were over, at least one other person, and at times, two had come and gone. I cannot be certain that all 2-3 attained the same outcome, through, obviously, there was a change in the intensity of the event. Did that make sense? I guess I'm wondering if I thought I had someplace still not quite "settled", or a place we can't get to, should we target on those places and assume there must be something more that prohibits the total release..still churning up unelicited emotions at inopportune times, or can still be triggered by a smell, or a sound. Or, does it mean, we just didn't take it far enough -- although at the time, it was a far as we could go. I have not had a very cooperative network inside and we believe there are levels of the system built into systems within systems to cover up the truths of those lives and what happened on a daily basis. Perhaps this is too much information and I stand corrected. I may be to anxious and to excited in obtaining some direction on this matter. Katieshouse
