The point was that tho we want to know the mechanism of action for anything that works, it may be used in spite of not knowing for sure the mechanism of action.

By the way, we have a policy here, and that is that mental health professionals who post here, including students, are expected to post their names. The lay public can expect confidentiality.

The reason is that it keeps people conducting themselves professionally, as if they were at a professional conference. So by all means your skepticism is welcome here, but just do show your name and hold your head high if you indeed are a mental health professionals/student.
