I spoke to my therapist re: his former client/schizophrenia today. He was not, as I suspected, the one who made the diagnosis, but he has worked with DID, and felt sure the client was, indeed, schizophrenic.

He described targeting the delusions and paranoia... both of which densensitized.

Of course, the client could have been rapidly switching or manifesting some other DID symptomology that imitates schizophrenia.
