    Yes Barbara, statistics are the solution it seems for studies and evaluations of treatments... and you are so right that if one does not fit into the right 'criteria.. or 'pigeon hole'then one does not qualify for the right effect of a therapy. be it EMDR, Hypnosis, Meditation, or whatever...[so it would be a help if someone could explain all this in lay terms]...life itself teaches us all many 'therapies'but when the time comes that we need the help of a dedicated and learned person to help with a mind filled with trauma, statstics are of no use...we are all very different, therefore at the mercy of a statistical band of 'we know' because of the studies!I do hope that no one thinks that I am not extremely interested in all aspects of repairing my mind and soul....I most certainly am!
