1) I think the point is that this forum is to discuss EMDR, not to get diverted into a controversy re. false memories 2) If you are familiar w/ standard emdr protocol, the therapist actually says very little - it is the client who says what they see and experience during emdr, so I fail to understand how exactly it is that you believe that EMDR plants "false memories". The vast majority of the time, the therapist says "what are you noticing now?" and "go w/ that" or some variation of the above.
