Thanks Sandra for your feedback. I agree I need to assess further and continue to work on rapport, etc... I do experience her as being dissociative, but am not sure where on the continuum she lies exactly and am in the process of trying to get a better idea of that. I also find that the vertical EMs tend to be quite calming for clients - I often use them for rdi, and especially installation of the safe place, partly for that reason.
