One last thing: The Feeny et al. study collapsed subjects across treatment conditions to get a large enough sample of BPD/partial BPD. Thus, some subjects were treated with PE, some with SIT and some with PE/SIT. The numbers in the BPD group are too small to conduct meaningful anayses of different treatments. As I said before, this clearly is not a definitive answer, but a first step.
