No research, but the Institute has been teaching for a decade that medications may interfere with processing, based on clinical experience. Some targets may need to be reprocessed once the client is off of meds, as more affective material becomes available. At the same time, meds may make it possible for clients to be able to approach material, or have enough energy to do the work, so we tend to not discourage antidepressants when people are immobilized without it.
