Re:emdr and stuttering

Please review this forum and its archives for prior discussions of stuttering treatment.

I have successfully treated two cases of stuttering using a combination of EMDR and ego state therapy. In both cases, it was the conflict/struggle between an adult ego state and a child ego state that caused the stuttering and which greatly improved with treatment. I doubt every case would be amenable to treatment using these methods, but those with onsets post trauma would be most likely to so resolve.
